We're Horror fans first.

Inspired by Giles’ shop in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and a lifelong love of horror, owner Alex Cordova created The Magic Oil Box as both tribute and safe space.

Before there was horror-inspired aromatherapy, there were late summer nights watching movies on USA Up All Night, attending conventions, and finding comfort in stories that made me feel less alone.

Every blend we make starts from the same place: a horror nerd who still gets excited, still gets scared, and still believes there’s nothing quite like watching a scary movie in a dark room.
