Established in 2021, The Magic Oil Box is a horror apothecary crafting small-batch, chemical-free, cruelty-free aromatherapy inspired by cult classics, horror films, and pop culture legends.
We blend the power of essential oils with cinematic horror nostalgia to transform everyday self-care into something spooky and story-driven.
The Concept
Our creative process starts with the human experiences we find in horror: wanting to feel protected, searching for belonging, finding confidence, healing, or moving through transformation. We take those feelings and translate them into original scents, using the holistic benefits of essential oils to create blends that support the emotions and experiences that inspired them. That’s the direction we’re most excited about as The Magic Oil Box grows.

How We Make Our Blends
We take our craft seriously. Every formula is developed with intention:

We're a hands-on, event-driven brand. You'll find us at conventions, pop-ups, and horror screenings, in person, where we can put a tester in your hand and watch your face when you smell something you didn't expect to love.
